An Elemental Lair
[Exits: north]
The darkness of this room is almost consuming, save for the faint glow from
the fireplace set into the Southern wall, the light strong enough to highlight
the beautiful tapestry hanging above it. The burning embers within the hearth
seem to come alive and dance over what's left of the charred logs, causing
shadows to play upon the huge pile of furs spread across the rocky floor. To
the east is a writhing vortex that allows no hint of what lies beyond its
currents, the shifting shadows of the floor echoing its rhythm in movement.
The sound of water can be heard coming from the west, a large sheet of rain
pouring in from the skies above, through the open ceiling. Odd that it only
inhabits that space. To the north stands a barricade made of solid ice, no
hint of exit visible upon or around its surface.
Samiyah is here.
Malkil ftells, 'I got a crappy mobmastery, a spider.... there are spiders in tons of places!'.

DarkClaw slowly breaks from her thoughts to look to you, nodding hesitantly. "I suppose I do."

You say, 'I'm...not sure. It was a sense of...forboding, if ou will. Not long enough for me to evaluate. Thomas was with me, but he didn't sense it. At least he gave no indication of doing so.'.
Samiyah sits down and thinks deeply.

DarkClaw sighs and runs a hand through her raven locks. "No, but he asked if I was okay and made no indication of anything being off for himself."
Samiyah hmms softly. "And are you well physically? Have you Fed?"
You say, 'I've fed recently, thanks to Wellington. And the only other thing that's happened recently was the argument with Venom yesterday. I hardly think that was the cause.'.
Samiyah says philosophically, "arguing with Venom is enough to make anyone feel off."

You say, 'As did we. He...thinks I have cursed him somehow. He claims he cannot get intimate with any other woman now.'.

Samiyah is so excited that she cheers just for the hell of it.

DarkClaw's smile broadens, revealing the full extent of her fangs. "Wonderful! I will announce it today, then."

Samiyah shrugs self consciously. "I am not afraid any more. Of Venom or of Seraph."
You say, 'I have not even thought of Seraph in years now. I wonder what plotting he is doing while he's away. As for Venom...'.
DarkClaw sighs and shakes her head absently, letting her words drop there.

DarkClaw slowly looks back to you as if just then realizing something, bristling, but quickly recovering. "Tricked Corri?...How?"

DarkClaw looks back towards the fire and shrugs a shoulder ungracefully. "He finds me weak...my love for others mainly...my emotion."
Samiyah says (in common), 'so.. your passion and fire and loyalty? He isn't mad you have those things I don't think. I think he gets mad they aren't ALL for _him_'.
Samiyah frowns in response to Sparhawk's question.
