Backstory: The Arcanes, an Evil following led by Torchbearer, was battling the Black Conclave and the Life's Blood. A representative of the Arcanes asked to speak with Cordir, regarding the Chosen of Fate's Neutral role.

The Temple of Mar [Exits: west]
It is quiet here, and peaceful. Within the thick stone walls of this temple, the windblown, wild side of the ocean can be forgotten, and prayers offered up for the calm seas and fair weather that the fishermen and merchants desire. You feel that you could spend time here, resting in its sanctity and looking around the temple.
(Red Aura) Suidheachadh is here

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'What is it that you wish to speak to me of?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'well, I believe we may have something that can aid both our followings.'

Cordir arches an eyebrow inquisitively.

Hel [ Cl:21 Wa:16 ] Suidheachadh, Knight of Flowers, Principality of Arcanes

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'We of the Arcanes have a problem'

Cordir says, 'My Destined, Vecna?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'no.'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'the problem we have in common is Nash.'

Cordir smiles quietly.
Cordir says, 'How much do you know of my past, Suidheachadh?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'They have attacked us, neutrals, and goods slike.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'not much, Lady, a situation i also hope to rectify one day.'

Cordir nods quietly.
Cordir says, 'Do you speak for your Lord in this?'
Cordir says, 'Or are you... scouting the territory, so to speak?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'one moment, please.'
Suidheachadh bows deeply.
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'just making sure of my status.'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'yes, I do.'

Cordir smiles quietly.
Cordir says, 'interesting.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'it doesn't hurt to double check. :)'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'we ask not for your assistance in our trouble.'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'we are not ones to drag others into our battles.'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'we do, however, ask you your help in a Trade Embargo against all Nashite and Conclave followings.'

Cordir says, 'So, Lifes Blood and the Conclave.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'No selling, buying, or trading with ANY nashite...Asia's following, Molo's following, and Okk's following also.'

Cordir pauses a moment in thought.

Cordir says, 'that's an interesting idea.'
Cordir says, 'May I ask if it was yours?'
Cordir says, 'Or Torchbearer's?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'in all honesty, the trade embargo was torchbearers.'

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'and speaking to Me of it?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'i, however, am currently in charge of the war effort, and am serving as general.'

Cordir nods.

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'speaking to you of it was my idea.'

Cordir says, 'so this is War that you ask Me to bring My Chosen into?'
Cordir arches an eyebrow inquisitively.

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'no.'

Cordir says, 'Is this not a tactic in an offensive?'
Cordir says, 'Cut off of supply route, etc...'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'this is merealy a warnig'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'warning, rather'

Cordir pauses a moment to consider.
Cordir says, 'Let Me inform you what it will accomplish.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'we tire of the conclave killing us without retribution'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'i am listening.'

Cordir says, 'You will anger the Conclave.'
Cordir says, 'If you could stop them from killing you, you would have done so already.'
Cordir says, 'An embargo? IT is an inconvenience.'
Cordir says, 'If I could stop them from killing my folk? I would have done so.'
Cordir says, 'But Neutrality does not allow such.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'the first step is always the hardest.'

Cordir says, 'I am not a dictator.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'if we don't try, they will continie to kill us and your members'

Cordir says, 'I will bring your words to My folk.'

Suidheachadh bows deeply.

Cordir says, 'And I will seek their council.'
Cordir says, 'However...'
Cordir says, 'Know this...'

Cordir says, 'You have lived for one hundred and thirty five years....'
Cordir says, 'I served Nash for longer than that as a member of the Black Conclave.'

Suidheachadh bows deeply.

Cordir says, 'And served Nash for longer than that as a member of the Silver Fellowship of Nash.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'truly.'

Cordir says, 'I am Nashite in my personal faith, though named Excommunicate.'
Cordir says, 'So... '
Cordir smiles quietly.

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'may i, Lady?'

Cordir says, 'My folk choose their own paths.... I do not dictate my will upon them.'

Cordir says, 'May you what?'
Cordir arches an eyebrow inquisitively.

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'state a rebuttal.'

Cordir says, 'Certainly.... though I don't know how you can 'rebutt' my personal beliefs....' Cordir chuckles softly.

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'not yours, mine.'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'now then.'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'you have followed Nash honorably, and we do not deny his existance.'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'Nash kills us.'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'the only reson we can't stop them is because we never tried.'

Cordir says, 'Nashites who choose the dark path kill you.'
Cordir says, 'NASH does not do so.'

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'What the Conclave has is organization.'
Cordir says, 'And cooperation...'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'nashites, i evils, for these purposes, will always win, as long as everone hides from them'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'i have taken a lesson from thaygar. Death means nothing.'

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'Loss is to be embraced.'
Cordir glances at her left hand's bare finger.

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'what is life to those who are Angels, to be reborn agfain>'
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'as long as we hide, we can never win'

Cordir says, 'so strip yourselves, and go into battle.'
Cordir shrugs.

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'as longas your people hide, you people will never win'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'stripping and going into battle, that is a tactic for those who have nothing to lose'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'the conclave has orginaziton, and cooperation.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'i, by staring this holy war, seek to achieve that end for all of us. '

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'starting wil those in my following.'

Cordir says, 'I am the Weaver.... I am life and destiny, fate and choice.... and such is the Path of My Chosen... Ours is not the path of conflict.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'with unity, and honor, we can overcome any odds.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'ahhh, but those who honor fate and destiny can change the world, no?'

Cordir says, 'Aye, they can.'

Cordir says, 'But, I regret to say, I have rarely seen anyone with Angel's Wings, with honor.'

Cordir smiles wryly.

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'may i be the first?'

Cordir says, 'Perhaps. Tis something I give only when earned.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'so is respect. that's what we all want.'

Cordir says, 'There is also the small matter of my Destined, Vecna.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'yes?'

Cordir says, 'He stands against you.'

Suidheachadh nods.

Cordir says, 'Do you know what the Destined are?'
Cordir says, 'What that means to Me and Mine?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'No, but i'm willing to learn.'

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'The Destined are folk who are legendary in their knowledge, skill, and honor.'
Cordir says, 'Folk that I give My full regard and trust.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'i do not deny that to him'

Cordir says, 'When they speak to a Chosen, they speak with My voice.'
Cordir says, 'Vecna has spoken against you, the Arcane, to My folk.'
Cordir says, 'His word, is as My word.'

Suidheachadh nods.

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'if i may be so imprudent as to state a belief'

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'You may.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'Vecne, sadly, has taken agaisnt all arcanes on the strength of one expierence.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'i had always respected him'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'and he is truly one of, if the te, most powerful mortal in the realm.'

Cordir says, 'My own experience with Ibram was enough to sour my mind as well.... but there have been others bearing wings that have taught me distrust.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'but i do not think it wise to judge the actions of the few as the actions of the many.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'we had a housecleaning.'

Cordir says, 'It is not Vecna's blade or spells that make him dangerous...'
Cordir says, 'It is his mind.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'we realized this also, and cleaned up the following.'

Cordir arches an eyebrow inquisitively.
Cordir says, 'this is ... news.'

Palin ftells, 'Anything exciting happening? :)'

Cordir ftells, 'Yes.... the Arcanes are trying to convince me to begin a Trade Embargo against all Nashites.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'i, for one, have little respect for Ibram.'

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'He's rude.'
Cordir says, 'I abhor bad manners.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'it does not show wisdom to be be rude to those who can easliy defeat you'

Cordir smiles wryly.

Palin ftells, 'And what is thier argument for doing such a thing?'
Cordir ftells, 'The defeat of Nashism.'

Cordir says, 'Ah, but I'm but a NEUTRAL... even if Immortal...'

Suidheachadh nods.
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'however.'

Cordir says, 'What does my viewpoint matter? I cannot easily defeat anyone. I cannot raise a hand against anyone who harms my folk - nor can they.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'you are neural. We ask you not to raise a hand.'

Cordir ftells, 'I think perhaps he has never seen My Temple and knows nothing of My past'

Palin ftells, '*nod* Perhaps he should do his homework before sticking his foot in his mouth *grin*'

Cordir ftells, '*smiles quietly*'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'we simlpy ask you to show your disappointment in a tangible manner'

Cordir says, 'To be honest, Suidheachadh, my folk rarely use Auction.'

Suidheachadh nods.

Cordir says, 'Any gift not found needed within, is given to the young.'
Cordir says, 'Most have sworn solumn oaths never to sell an object.'
Cordir says, 'Or to trade.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'but to publicly state that you will not participate in trades or auctions with nash will have the same psychological effect'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'it matters not that you don't sell anyway'

Cordir says, 'Would that not be hypocracy for me to do, considering that I believe myself still Nashite?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'what matters is that you do not sell to nash is public knowledge, evidence of your disappointemet in their attitude toward your people.'

Palin ftells, 'Besides it would take more than a mere trade embargo to defeat Nashism'

Cordir ftells, 'Agreed. They seem to wish our public support'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'is it not hypocritical for the oth Nashite to excommunicate a loyal follower?'

Cordir smiles quietly.
Cordir says, 'The Lich has the authority to do what he did.'
Cordir says, 'Whether or not I agree with it.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'but you also have the authorty to stand up for yourself and your following.'

Cordir says, 'And I do.'
Cordir says, 'Do you know of the Anathema?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'i certainly don't want to be a member of a club that won't have me as a member'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'it rings a bell'

Cordir smiles quietly.

Palin ftells, 'Well being Neutral is just that...how can we support an evil following and still be called Neutral? Wouldn't we then be taking a side?'

Cordir says, 'The Anathema is a list of folk who have raised hand against My Chosen.'
Cordir says, 'No aid is given them, no comfort, no word, no notice.'
Cordir says, 'It is thusly that I deal with those who harm my folk.'

Suidheachadh nods.

Cordir says, 'To ALL others..... we offer an open hand in frienship and aid.'
Cordir says, 'friendship, rather.'

Suidheachadh nods.

Cordir says, 'Granted, we focus on the young and new to the Realm...'
Cordir says, 'but... unless one has harmed us...'
Cordir says, 'we do not count them enemies.'
Cordir says, 'I count three of the Conclave as some of my most fast friends.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'despite the fact they are against you?'

Cordir says, 'At who's troubles I mourn, and at who's presence I gladden.'
Cordir says, 'There is no 'they', Suidheachadh.'
Cordir says, 'There is a handful. An annoyance.'
Cordir says, 'My folk are wise, and learned, and RUN.'
Cordir says, 'I do not blame the Conclave for the actions of UuKrul.'
Cordir says, 'I do not blame the Arcane for the actions of Ibram.'
Cordir says, 'I do not blame those of Pain for the actions of their killers, either.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'so it's ok for Vecna to judge us all for the action of one, but not for him to do the same with the conclave?'

Cordir says, 'And I hold no fault with the Life's Blood.'
Cordir says, 'Vecna's choices are his own choices. I do not bend my own wishes to his, sir.'
Cordir says, 'He does not dictate My action or feeling.'
Cordir says, 'In general... my folk avoid yours, because yours tend to attack us.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'all we ask, Lady, is your moral disapproval in the actions of those nashites who make war upon both us and you.'

Cordir smiles quietly. Cordir says, 'I already give it.... they are named Anathema.'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'we ask you not to order your followers, but to simply tell them what you have seen' Suidheachadh bows deeply.

Palin ftells, 'Well m'Lady, I am sorry my stay has to be so short but I must be off'
Cordir ftells, '*nods* It was good to see you, Apprentice, if only briefly.'
Palin ftells, 'Take care m'Lady :)'
Cordir ftells, 'Fare well'

Cordir says, 'As I said, I am not a dictator.'

Suidheachadh nods.

Cordir says, 'I will speak to my folk and gain their concensus.'
Cordir says, 'I believe I know the outcome...'
Cordir says, 'But I will give them the opportunity for debate.'

Suidheachadh nods.
Suidheachadh says (in common), 'thank you, Lady'

Cordir arches an eyebrow inquisitively.
Cordir says, 'Was there anything else?'

Suidheachadh says (in common), 'no, Lady. That was all'

Cordir raises her hand in a graceful gesture of summoning.
A glimmering light appears, and expands into a shining web-like Pattern.
Cordir steps through the Pattern Web and disappears from the chamber.

Suidheachadh tells Cordir (in common), 'Thank you for your time'
Cordir tells Suidheachadh, 'certainly.'
