During the time that the Chosen of Fate were a Sentry PK Model, only those who were designated as 'Blades of Fate' were permitted to utilize the Fjust granted to an attack, theft, or kill from a Chosen. They were led by Noctus, who later received assistance from Solaron and Abe and Kaldred in group leadership. Thieves who wished to assist with Fjust were named the Hands of Fate.

As part of his Triat Mastery Quest, Noctus was tasked with creating a set of rules for the Blades, as well as an Oath to be taken.

Creed of the Blades of Fate:

  • The Blades of Fate are allowed to hunt and attack individuals who are placed on a list that Lady Cordir has approved. This list could possibly be the Anathema list... of course these people need to be on fjust or who just as well.
  • Humanity: Just because we have to kill like them, we do not need to be like them... In other words: Treat your enemy with respect, especially at his weakest moments, no insults, no attacks till he/she shows aggression towards us again and possibly give the victim some gold, food and a waterskin (own judgement there)
  • Equipment distribution: Equipment from people that have been killed will be distributed among:
  1. The Chosen of Fate.
  2. Our Allies and Newbies (Only appropriate equipment for newbies…so no loads of damage)
  • Restrings: When we happen to acquire an item that has been restrung and we know to whom it belonged, we return this item when it is a Chosen, newbies or an ally. When an item used to belong to someone outside these three groups, we need to decide what to do on individual grounds. People on Anathema or Rabhadh list do not get items returned unless it is a very special item like a wedding ring or so…Those items can be traded for equipment of similar value.
  • We can only attack people on Fjust, but we can assist others with spells and summons against other Anathema. It is however not wise to do so against Anathema who have not shown any sign of aggression towards us since they are part of their current following. (e.g. Followers of Bliss or Vorax)

I, (name), do swear upon my soul and the Covenant I have made with the Chosen, to uphold and defend the Lady’s servants to the utmost of my ability. I will obey the lawful orders of those placed above me, and will seek to enlighten those younger then I. May the fire of the Wyld give me the passion, may the honor of the Wyrm be my life, and may the wisdom of the Weaver temper my actions. In the name of the Triat, this I swear.
