Tokugawa chuckles, evidently amused.

You chuckle.

You say (in common), 'not long ago, a few folks had the nerve to poke fun at my peoples camp here in the north'.

You say (in common), 'calling it a "shanty" if I remember correctly'.

You say (in common), 'so, I prepared this performance to teach them a thing or two'.

You grin happily.

Malgrunt grunts something incomprehensible.

Nur giggles.

Cicero slowly advances towards the stage, pausing at it's center.
Cicero bends a keen, spreading his arms and lowering his head in a deep bow.
Cicero rises slowly.

You smile happily.

You say (in common), 'Welcome one and all. I thank you for attending!'.

You say (in common), 'On this day, I shall share with you a tale of my people!'.

You say (in common), 'Handed down to my Grandfather by his Greatfather before him!'.

Cicero begins raising his right arm slowly...directing his gaze at the audience.
Cicero grins...and with a flourish of his cloak, produces a small silver lyre!
Cicero plucks at the lyre in a few, deliberate notes before nodding in satisfaction.
Cicero pauses for a several long moments, closes his eyes, then begins.

You say (in common), 'Shrouded by night, And strange beast hides'.
You say (in common), 'Their blades were wrought, For blood they sought'.
You say (in common), 'Both men and women, Would lose their lives'.

You say (in common), 'They led their clan, Across the plain'.
You say (in common), 'As thunder spoke, Of crimson rain'.

Cicero stands in complete stillness as the sounds of his chords fade into silence.
Cicero opens his eyes, spreads his arms and bends a knee in a deep, formal bow.

You say (in common), 'It is lost in the histories as to who it was that first drove my people from their land!'.

You say (in common), 'Some say it was a tribe of Ogres, whose decendants still live south of the Western Forests'.

You say (in common), 'Others claim it was a band of marauding pirates, come from across to Maelmordian Seas'.

You say (in common), 'Perhaps some clue lies out in one of these places, waiting to be discovered!'.

You bow deeply.
