DAMAGE
When one character attacks another, the severity of the damage is shown in the
verb used in the damage message. Here are all the damage verbs listed from
least damage to most damage:

   miss        wound           MUTILATE        DEMOLISH
   scratch     maul            DISEMBOWEL      ANNIHILATE
   graze       decimate        EVISCERATE
   hit         devastate       MASSACRE
   injure      maim
