Mud Contributions:

  • Erond was unique in that he served as a Paladin for three different Immortals: Mort, Ath, and Agape.

Current Description:

Mortal - Date Unknown:
As you look upon the man in front of you, you are immediately struck by a sense of inner peace. Erond has been touched by the gods, and that touch is reflected in his unusually somber expression. An expression that seems totally out of place with the merriment in his dancing green eyes.

Looking closer, you see that life has not always be peaceful. A faint pink scar works its way completely around his neck, evidence of decapitation from the Executioner's axe. You also see the beginning of a ragged scar starting at his right shoulder, and proceding under his armor down his back. The lightning bolt called by the Master of Darkness has left its mark.

As you finish your examination, a thought strikes you. This is a man who cherishes his honor, and one who will not allow others to trespass upon it. A peaceful man, but one who will not tolerate transgressions upon himself, his bretheren, or his god.

You see a PALADIN.

Erond has some cuts.

Personal Timeline:

October 27, 2000: Erond visits once more (as a 1st level newbie) and drops this quotable: Erond gossips (in common), 'Bah! I was a paladin... I didn't need brains.'.

July 31, 2002: Erond logs in as a newbie to visit, and is greeted with: Abe gossips (in common), 'Erond, Phooey and Trunks??.. have I hit a timewarp?'.

August 20, 2002: Erond visits again, and actually levels up to 2nd. Erond gossips (in common), 'Thank you. Thank you. Taken me about 6 years to make it to level 2.'.

December 20, 2003: Erond visits, chats about his mud, and Erond says (in common), 'Still amazed people remember me.'.

May 29, 2004: Erond visits, and Tynian promotes him from level 1 to Ambassador and then sets him to Retired, so that the legend no longer has to reroll each time he visits. The mud is spammed with info-triggers, gratzing him on each level. Erond declares this to be a "FANTASTIC fix to the combat code, Tyn!" Molo adds, "I hate to say this....but he needs a bright blue aura." Tynian agrees, and Erond's alignment is set to Lawful Good.
