You see before you an older man, heavyset, with world weary eyes even older than the rest
of him appears. He notices you looking at him, and with a tired smile he waves you closer.

'I have walked this world many years before. I can remember Thaygar as a mortal, and
Coleman. I once hunted with and against Ivan and Pestis and Ged and Huey and many more
I can no longer remember. I have killed and been killed, been both good and evil, saint
and sinner, God and follower. I was part of groups that killed shopkeepers when Midgaard was
the only town in the realm worth mentioning. I lived through the Plague of Shaman that scoured
the world like ravenous locusts. After the plague I walked other worlds and other places, even into
the afterlife itself. Coleman called me back from the void, and it was good to see old
friends and make new ones, but now Coleman is gone as well. Now I wander, again like
Caine from Kung Fu, buying and selling, wheeling and dealing.

Evil? I guess I am. If Merrick has a red aura, so should I. In the end, desire for my
wares will always overcome whatever reservations anyone has as to their source. In the
end, greed and desire always wins.'

With these parting words, he turns away, searching for the next deal, the next purchase, the next
sale, the next piece of equipment gained by purchase or with blood and pain.
Hiro leads a charmed life.

I remember that Hiro was a lot of fun on Mirth Ftell, and he was one of the scariest 'not gonna kill you unless you attack him first' people. While others might be better at randoming OR trading OR dealing, no one was at Hiro's level at all three at once. He is always generous and friendly with his trades, or seems to be. It is more likely that he is fair and doesn't jack up prices based on how much you need something, and that alone, seems generous on TFC sometimes.
