Roles within the Group/Hierarchy:

Chief Navigator - Oversees all operations of the Guild. (can only be overruled by the Founder)

Navigator - Leads group expeditions. Assigns solo expeditions.

Master Cartographer - Tasked with teaching Apprentice Cartographers how to properly document the world

Journeyman Cartographer - May map independently or in groups. Receives assignments from the Navigators

Apprentice Cartographer - ??

Journalist - Provides written summaries of areas, as well as persons and locations of note

Initiate - All who wish to join the guild but have yet to gain sponsorship from a member

Rules

• Have Fun

• No Spoilers If you have to defeat Ugg the Troll king to get The Master Key to unlock the door to the treasure room, that is something for players to discover. Marking doors as "Locked" is fine.

• No Aggressive PK If you are attacked without provocation, report the aggression to a superior immediately. LoE strives to remain neutral but it will protect it's own.

• Do not erase someone else's work. TFC has a reputation for maintaining it's history. If you update a [Places | Place] on the wiki make sure old information is accessible.

• Check before you map. Someone else may already be in the process. If you would like to help, speak with a Navigator. If the member assigned the project accepts the offer, you will be added to the team.

Objectives

Primary Objective

• Provide all players in game with directions and information of areas
• Provide a map for all know places on the Wiki
• Make sure all maps on the wiki are up to date See the Cartographer list for places that need maps.

Secondary Objectives

• Build a map of the known world compatible with cMUD
• Provide descriptions of [Places] along with notable locations and NPCs
