Character History:

Zoardryn the 15th, The Fool's Errand, year 2535, 10pm. It was the day of a great storm passing through the Realm. The gnomes were hiding in the caves of Thristlerock, fearing nothing but the great arcs of lightning and the roaring thunders above their heads. The guards in the mighty Iron Fortress were guarding the little gnome settlement against orcs, kobolds and goblins. But at that night only the real brave could conquer the vigorous weather Mother Nature presented. So none was spending attention for life outside in the pouring rain. Then, a small 'knock-knock' was heard on the Iron gate. The guards looked at each other, not knowing what to do, but carefully the gate was opened. It was that night young Sharn was found, lonely, lying in a small basket before the fortress. The gnomes of Thristlerock decided to raise the child within their community. All became his mother, father and teacher, living safely in the caves of Thristlerock. His teachers did mention the life outside, but forbid to pass the gates till his 10th birthday. Sharn could only dream about the real life, hidden from his grasps. Then, at the age of 8, he slipped through the city entrance when the guards did not look. It was one of the clearest nights that year as Sharn entered the world for the second time in his short life. Alone. Quiet. And he looked up to the heavens, to the tiny lights on the firmament.

Sharn could not stop looking at the tiny lights, seemingly far away, but at the same time almost within his reach. He raised his arms, in an attempt to grab them, touch them, and harvest them. The moment looked like eternity, the experience unforgettable, forever burned in his memories. He froze. And then the elder gnomes found himstanding there, staring at the Stars. The magic of that moment was broken when they yelled at him: 'Hey Stargazer, get back in, NOW!' Sharn was pulled back in the Fortress, but, The Stargazer was born.

Every day, Sharn was allowed to climb the southern tower of the fortress to look at the tiny lights in the dark sky. Elder gnomes told stories about the life in the world, but Sharn was mostly facinated by one of the Eldest gnomes, Noctus, Chosen Blade of Fate. He told Sharn the ways the people of the following of Fate lived and how to interact with all others in the Realm. Shaped by these moments in his youth, Sharn decided to become his part of the Pattern and follow the Weaver of Eternity, Cordir, as the Stargazer of Fate.

Geasa:

1. Because I love the stars as they are and honor them every time I leave my hometown, I will never leave Thristlerock at daylight.
2. At login and logoff I will greet the immortals of TFC to show respect.
3. I will provide everybody with curing spells whenever they need them or ask for it

Personal Timeline:

05/31/2002: Sharn is created.
06/03/2002: Sharn obtains Cordir's permission to quest to join the Chosen of Fate.
07/04/2002: Cordir holds an impromptu Splash Contest at the MG Swimming Hole. Sharn has the consistantly smallest splash (Sharn lands with a small splash.) and Noctus wins (Noctus lands, making a SPLASH like a TIDAL WAVE!!! Noctus wonders if he really wants to be at Time-line for making the biggest SPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAASHH!!!) Though Honorable Mention goes to Legolas, who attempts to lure the Tempest into jumping (instead, The Tempest *** DEMOLISHES ***, Massacres, and *** DEMOLISHES ***Legolas. Legolas leaves east. Legolas has fled!)
07/13/2002: Sharn levels to Cl:11\Wa: 9. Slusk gossips (in common), 'help, i'm dying emotionally!'. Sharn gossips (in common), 'read a book?'.
07/14/2002: Sharn levels to Cl:12\Wa: 9. Sharn dies horribly to a cockatrice after eating a teleport mushroom. Indiga of Darkness performs the CR.
09/10/2002: Sharn joins the Chosen of Fate.
09/12/2002: Sharn, Stargazer of the Chosen, levels twice, ascending to Cl:15\Wa:9. Garath is killed by a rock dragon at Black Beach Bay, and Sharn performs the CR.
09/16/2002: Sharn of Fate dies in the Temple of Isiira and Mael performs a speedy CR.
09/22/2002: Cordir puts together two quests with a title to match, and the winners are Mordith (high line) and Sharn (low line).
09/27/2002: Sharn gains a Train when he ascends to Wa:13\Cl:15.
10/03/2002: Sharn ascends twice, reaching Wa:15\Cl:23.
10/04/2002: Sharn of Fate ascends to Cl:16\Wa:15.
10/16/2002: Cordir runs a game of Imm Teleport: After 20 teleports, Sharn wins with 6 points.
