Notes: Talmud asked for a quest to teach him some of the deeper mysteries of the Triat. This is the board post he made at the completion of his quest. Please note that what he presented were his own thoughts and opinions, and don't necessarily reflect Triat canon and lore accurately. Cordir 13:19, 27 April 2011 (MDT)

Talmud's Triat Lore Quest

Mon Aug 30 08:38:24 1999
To followers of: Cordir
2pm, Cearn the 27th, the month of Reconciliation...

I have made known to Lady Cordir of the completion of my Triat Lore Quest today, and as per request, commit it to written history, so that its lessons may be learned, and not forgotten by those of the Chosen.

The Sender of the Eight, sleeping until the day it awakens to join the other two, in covering this Realm in its power, is bound by the octogonal ward, in its own Realm, constantly growing in all directions, in all dimensions...

On the Shore of Lake Hali, in the Sender's antechamber, is Shar-Ti, the duergar shaman, awaiting its Master's awakening... And below Shar-Ti sleeps the monstrous Great Dhole, mighty and fierce servant of The Sender, waiting until the Sender might awaken...

The Seeker of Filth, gazed upon Tier Sh'Halen, destroying the city, burying the once great city in ghostly ruins...
Within the buildings of Tier Sh'Halen is a secret room in the library, The Librarian's Jest. A vision is recorded amongst the parchments there, and with the help of Jahiliya of Veladorn, I have wrenched the meaning from its words. (because of length, I will not post the vision itself.)

Two fled far to the south from a great and terrible war, a man and woman. They wandered in the barren wilderness, and had two children, twin daughters. However, in such unfavorable conditions, they could not survive, and they cried out to the gods for mercy. And Isiira heard their cry. Overnight, along the Cymraeg, a lush jungle was created by Her power, suitable for bearing and sustaining life. In the jungle were powerful cats... Knowing full well that the people would not last long, unable to continue bearing children within the family, using the combined powers of both parents, and Isiira, they melded man and cat, creating the first of Her clans...

And then.. more visions... three separate visions, visions of blue, scarlet and violet.

The blue is a vision of the Weaver, the man at his loom, the spider spinning its web... The Weaver is perseverance, honor, and dignity.

The next vision is of scarlet, the Wyld. Here, visions of dwarves running away from the Spawn unleashed from the depths of N'Kai, a mighty maelstrom of lightning and darkness, chaos in its form, visible in Sanguinna, and a huge meteor smashing the temples of those gods who erred, and displeased the mighty Implementors of the Realm, destroying the temple...

And Violet, the Wyrm. A young couple talk far into the night, trying to _learn_, trying to birth relationship with each other. A heart-shadowed woman, our very Lady Cordir, learning her magic from her one time master, Salem, Black Dragon of the Conclave. And a fiery-fisted giant, Lord Thaygar, searching, exploring the Realm for signs of His lost love, Siren... and thus ends the visions.

The Sealer of Souls bides within the Nexus Vortex, bearing the Name of the Triat, as a humble servant. Within the Spire below the Nexus reside the Ogres of the Spire. Within the Spire, Odegra, the Clans' Rememberer, paints the wall with aara blood, a history of the Spire's creation, the war with the Aaran... Only the elders of the Spire know why Odegra must be the clan rememberer, but the Ebon Sigil Odegra is that which traces the beginning and end of all journeys...

(due to length, i will summarize rest)
Six have completed the Triat Mastery to date.
Amongst them are the Lady Cordir, Typhon and Pestis. To these three I spoke of their Trial.

Three items mentioning an Aspect of the Triat:
Wyrm: The Silver Pin of Exploration (thanks to Kennet for help)
The prismatic chaos wand (chosen because of the word chaos, but not in power. In power, the Lifestealer, a Barrow Blade was chosen in its power of destruction and chaos.) (that last one was wyld)
Weaver: The Book of Life

And hence ends, and begins, my search of Triat Lore...
