The Crest of Took Hill
[Exits: north south up]
You stand on top of Took Hill, named after the legendary Bandobras Took,
the legendary hero who founded Hovelton. There is a fountain standing here,
dedicated to his honor. Looking around from up here you can see the river
flowing off to the west, with the forest beyond, and some small farms to the
north and east. Past the farms to the east, the Eastern Plains fill the
horizon. A small stone path heads down the hill to the north and south. This
would be a very nice, serene place if not for the strange and ominous grey
vortex swirling above.

least you hope it is.

deck sways gently just above the water. You think twice about climbing
it, though, when you notice the flag of terror hanging from the mast.
The skull and crossbones. PIRATES! Maybe it would be wise to leave now
before they see you!
