For the Wyld

With no more than three mortals to help, slay the following creatures:

With only the Lady of the Hunt's aid:

  • Clear the Master's Tower, killing each and every creature.
  • Kill the unique monsters of the Demon Realm and one of each type of Demon there

- Proof of all of these tasks must be obtained and kept until the end of your Trial.

For the Wyrm

Tasks for Community and People:

  • Complete a corpse retrieval for one of Good, one of Evil (not Hunt) and one Aligned individual within your PK range. Return all items, retaining none. The corpse may not be an empty one. Log each.
  • Run three quests for the enjoyment of the public, open to all and any participants, providing the prizes and administering it fully.
  • Share your unique perspective on some of the souls of the Pattern you have known, providing information on three times three people (on the wiki). (Solaron, Kethran, Berrin, BeelzeBub, Dinin, Pez, Wistom, Solanthas, Lorax, Myst)
  • Pick one individual NOT of the Hunt, and share with them three pieces of hidden knowledge. (Ink shared three pieces of hidden knowledge with Cresom. He would post a log, but then they wouldn't be hidden anymore!)

Tasks for the Land and its Spirits:

  • Petition the Area Coordinators to update an existing 2x Zone to current economy and writing requirements. (NOTE: This was disallowed by the Area Coordinators, and instead, Ink is co-writing a brand new zone: Riverhold.)
  • Map the following areas: Baba Yaga's Hut, Candlespyre Mountain, and The Triton Halls. (post to the wiki)
  • Find the chamber in which a spider sigil provides safety for one who has seen what cannot be unseen.

Tasks for Resources and their Utilization

For the Weaver

  • Write a character history, minimum 500 words. It may not contain the word 'swarf.' Sent to Katrana and Cordir, and posted to the wiki.
  • Write a series of spell emote triggers (minimum 3) and at least one Immortal pray/tell trigger. Their use is required.
Ink quietly mops up his puddle in attempts to conceal his tracks.
Ink utters the words, 'pass w/o trace'. Ink says, 'Shhhh...'. Ink says, 'Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle!'. Ink coughs. Ink gargles a bit of salt water and tries again. Ink utters the words, 'tongues'. Ink splashes water onto his dry, fishy eyeballs. Ink utters the words, 'true seeing'. Ink can see again!
  • Take on three Geasa and swear them before Katrana and Guardian at minimum. (Ink Takes Geasa (Triat Mastery Quest))
  • Perform an act of service for a friend, an enemy and a stranger. Explain to the recipiant, Katrana and Cordir how that action glorified an aspect of the Triat. The CRs may not be included.
  • Actively develop the leadership skills of others by serving in a subordinate role. No leading groups for the duration of the quest. Focus on teaching others the means of being better leaders, group awareness, etc.
  • Work with the other two Triat Initiates to craft an RP event, focused on another, not yourself, for the Hunt as a group or the mud as a whole.
  • As you have been unwilling to acknowledge your Dwarven heritage, calling yourself a 'swarf'... for the duration of the quest, it will be stripped from you. You will be Reborn as another race, with another home town, upon acceptance of this quest: Turned into a Sahuagin.
  • For the duration of your quest, you are forbidden the dance of death. You may not risk your life in attacking others, or standing and fighting when attacked. You are _required_ to flee and abjure all player combat for the duration of your Trial.
  • Hold your own life sacred. Frivolous death is forbidden to you. If you experience Rebirth more than three times during your quest, it will be held as failure. Die three times while on this quest and you fail.
    • NOTE: Corri, a Triat Master, begged a mercy at this point in the quest, asking that three failures might be taken on her shoulders, prior to failure. Should Ink die a fourth, fifth, or sixth time on quest, Corri would sacrifice her own life (a full level), to prevent failure. This was accepted by Cordir and Katrana.
